The food at blue moon is soooo good! It always reminds me of my Italian family, cozy and delicious. Service is also great. I always get the pasta and my dad loves their pizza. One of my favorite spots in RVC!

I have to say this might be the worst restaurant on long Island. First things first I waited almost 2 hours to get my food and the food was disgusting! I ordered the most simplest thing (spaghetti and meatballs) and they manged to mess it up. There was way too much sauce and barely any pasta. The staff on the other hang were very respectful and were consistent which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. I was there for a party and they put together 3 round tables which was extremely uncomfortable. There were also 2 other parties there and our tables were 2 feet away from them.

The service was prompt and courteous although it was a slow night. The food was overall good but portions were on the small side. We found the six small baked clams pricey at $20. The pizza was flavorful but the bottom should have been firmer as the slice flopped when picking it up. At $15 for a glass of wine we should have received a higher quality wine than a $9 bottle at retail. Overall in my opinion not worth a return visit.

This was my 1st time having pizza in Long Island. Growing up as a Brooklynite, I had no reason to look for pizza elsewhere. What an incredible date spot in the middle of RVC. Old school coal oven pizzeria. The original flooring is still intact. The menu is straightforward, with wine and beer options available as well. We ended up getting a Pep/Sausage combo. A great balance of cheese to sauce. Fresh mozzarella. Acidic tomato sauce. A tasty pie. I wish it was a bit crispier, but that is just my preference. Delicious nonetheless!

Made reservations for a Friday night dinner. We were seated right away. The service was excellent & the food was delicious. This was my first time here, but it was definitely not my last.
